Psychotrauma

Exposure to traumatic factors is very common in the population. About half of the general population has been exposed during life to a severe psychological trauma. A 7% of subjects developed a posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

PTSD can become chronic and cause significant psychological and socio-professional disabilities, psychiatric disorders (depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse) and   comorbidities with physical disorders.
